AT LARGE: Bowling Green man evades police, wanted on numerous charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man faces several charges following an alleged robbery Wednesday evening.

According to a release, Bowling Green Police Department officers responded to a robbery involving an assault.

BGPD says Nawatha Murrell, 27, of Bowling Green, was identified as a suspect in the investigation.

Officers say a traffic stop was attempted on a vehicle driven by Murrell. He allegedly failed to stop.

Officers terminated the pursuit after determining the situation was dangerous to other motorists.

The release states that Murrell remains at large and has multiple active warrants.

These include robbery in the 1st degree, assault in the 2nd degree, parole violation, multiple counts of wanton endangerment in the 1st degree, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, fleeing or evading police in the 1st degree, and several additional charges.
