Madisonville police seek information on suspects in debit card money scam

MADISONVILLE, Ky. – The Madisonville Police Department is investigating a debit card scam and is asking for assistance.
According to a release, MPD responded to a complaint that two suspects entered two Dollar General locations in Madisonville and fraudulently loaded thousands of dollars onto a debit card across multiple transactions.
Surveillance video obtained by MPD from each store shows two individuals.
One is wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants and the other is wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
Information can be provided to the Madisonville Police Department by calling Hopkins County Central Dispatch at 270-821-1720 or anonymously with Hopkins County Crime Stoppers at 270-825-1111.
