Hopkinsville police searching for missing teens

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – The Hopkinsville Police Department is seeking help to locate two missing teens.
Police say Kimera “Kim” Trea and Amanda Henderson, both 16 years of age, have been reported missing.
Authorities say at about 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 5, both teens can be seen on security camera footage leaving Henderson’s apartment.
Police say both teens were confirmed to have been in the approximate area in the days following. However, authorities say they have not been located since that time.
Trea was last seen wearing a brown zip-up coat, gray and white pants and a tan over-the-shoulder purse. Henderson was last observed wearing a black jacket, gray pants, white shoes and white, over-the-ear headphones.
If anyone has had contact with the missing juveniles, contact the Hopkinsville Police Emergency Communications Center at 270-890-1300, even if you have already spoken with their families. Police say this will help investigators ensure all information is properly documented and will assist in establishing an accurate timeline after the disappearance.
Police are asking the teens to contact local law enforcement wherever they are or to contact the Hopkinsville Police Department to share their status and well-being.
According to police, anyone aiding the missing teens “in their willful absence or hindering their return may face criminal charges and prosecution.”
