Roadway to remain closed after train derailment in Todd County

TRENTON, Ky. – A roadway is closed following a train derailment on Tuesday morning.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s District 3 says U.S. 41 in Todd County will remain closed between the cities of Trenton in Todd County and Pembroke in Christian County for cleanup.

CSX will be cleaning up debris and processing the railroad cars.

The KYTC advises drivers to find an alternative route.

KYTC says more information will be released as it becomes available.
