WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A new fire engine is now available to the Alvaton Fire Department after one was totaled from being struck on the interstate earlier this year.

According to a social media post by the Warren County Fire Department System, a prior fire engine was struck on Interstate 65 while blocking for a collision response.

Now, thanks to the efforts of Pierce Manufacturing and Atlantic Emergency Solutions, the department states a replacement was made possible.

The Warren County Fire Department states members of Alvaton Fire Department leadership and the fiscal court worked together to secure funding needed to make this a reality.
