1 dead following crash in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash.

Sheriff Brett Hightower says deputies responded to a single-vehicle injury collision with possible entrapment early Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of Mount Olivet Road and Fairview Boling Springs Road.

Firefighters extracted the driver of the vehicle.

WCSO’s investigation shows that the vehicle was traveling on Mount Olivet Road towards Fairview Boling Springs Road when it ran off the road at a curve.

The vehicle continued and struck a concrete barrier.

Hightower says the driver was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.

The driver’s identity has not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
