Laurel County man charged in relation to child sexual abuse material

LONDON, Ky. – A Laurel County man is behind bars in connection with a child sexual abuse material investigation.

According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers arrested 31-yearold Lloyd Vincent Riley shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday.

Troopers say they located, interviewed and arrested Riley as a result of an undercover online investigation. KSP states its Electronic Crime Branch started the investigation after learning Riley was “uploading sexually explicit images of juveniles online.”

Authorities say they searched a home in London on Thursday. As a result, troopers say they seized equipment used to facilitate the crime for further examination.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Riley remains at the Laurel County Detention Center on one count of distributing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance.
