1 transported after crashing into tree in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – One person was transported after a vehicle reportedly crashed into a tree in Glasgow on Sunday.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers responded to a single-vehicle injury accident on Old Bowling Green Road.

Police say they determined a 2018 Chevy Cruze driven by Jessie Shipley was traveling westbound on Old Bowling Green Road when his vehicle veered to the left side of the road and collided with a tree.

Authorities say Shipley was transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Hospital for his injuries.

The Glasgow Fire Department additionally assisted on scene.
