Spiller named 2025 Clerk of the Year

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A City of Bowling Green employee has received a major honor.

Hope Spiller, Assistant City Clerk for the City of Bowling Green, was named the 2025 Clerk of the Year by the Barren River Municipal Clerks Association on Friday.

According to a social media post by the city, the award recognizes a municipal clerk who demonstrates exceptional professionalism, ethical conduct, and dedication to advancing the profession, and Hope delivers all of that and more.

Spiller has worked for the City of Bowling Green for 7 years. She has also served as BRMCA Treasurer and is involved with the Kentucky Municipal Clerks Association.
