Power outage scheduled for portion of Bowling Green early on Nov. 25

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Local utility providers and emergency officials in Warren County are warning residents of a scheduled power outage early Tuesday morning.
According to Warren County Emergency Management, the outage is expected to last from 2 a.m. that morning until 5 a.m. in the Hartland area. For a list of affected roads, click here.
Emergency management says this will affect many businesses and residential areas.
Bowling Green Municipal Utilities has confirmed the outage is to repair faulty equipment.
In addition, the dispatch center and fire departments have been notified. Residents of the Hartland area should plan accordingly.
This includes making sure you have fresh batteries in flashlights, battery powered AM/FM radios and your NOAA weather radio.
To keep refrigerators and freezers cold during the outage, residents should minimize the number of times they open the doors.
If you use a generator, residents are advised to run it outdoors and be sure the exhaust is well away from open windows or doors or air intakes for the home.
