Gov. Beshear orders flags to half-staff in honor of former Vice President Cheney

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear is directing that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff in honor and remembrance of former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Cheney died on Monday, Nov. 3.
The governor’s office stated flags shall remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of Cheney’s internment, which is yet to be announced.
The governor encourages all individuals to take part in the tribute.
