UPDATE: One dead following two-vehicle crash on I-65 in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal crash in Warren County.
KSP Public Affairs Officer Trooper Katan Parker says troopers responded to Interstate 65 southbound, 20.2 mile marker, just before 3 a.m. to a report of an injury collision.
KSP’s investigation indicates that an SUV, driven by 49-year-old Johnathan Barnes of Hendersonville, Tennessee, traveling south struck an object in the road and became disabled in the travel lane.
Parker says a tractor-trailer, driven by 35-year-old Kaeleb Huntsman of Deputy, Indiana, traveling south, struck the same object and collided with the SUV.
The Warren County Coroner’s Officer pronounced Barnes of the SUV dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. All lanes have reopened at this time.

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Two separate crashes have reportedly occurred Monday on Interstate 65 at the 20-mile marker.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office confirms the Kentucky State Police is working a fatal collision at the 20-mile marker southbound. Shortly after, an additional crash happened at the 20-mile marker southbound.
Authorities have confirmed all northbound lanes have reopened. One lane on the southbound side is open at this time.
