Two injured in head on collision
An Alvaton woman was hospitalized after a Saturday afternoon wreck in the 200 block of Leayou Road.
Deputies were called to the area and arrived to find Bathsheba Burke, 40, of Alvaton, injured and lying on the ground, according to a release from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Based on evidence at the scene, Burke’s vehicle crossed the middle of the roadway and struck a vehicle driven by James Craft, 49, of Bowling Green, head on, according to the release.
Deputies believe Burke was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and other drugs at the time of the collision, according to the release.
Burke was flown to a Nashville trauma center and Craft was treated on the scene.
Following the ongoing investigation, the information gathered by investigators will be presented to an upcoming Warren County grand jury.
