BGPD responds to fatal bicycle crash, victim identified

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is at the scene of a reported fatal crash off of Campbell Lane.

Bowling Green Police Department public information officer Ronnie Ward has confirmed the wreck was a fatal crash involving a bicycle that occurred on Campbell Lane near Porter Paints at approximately 5:06 am on Tuesday.

Ward confirmed that the victim is Alexis Ricardo Gonzalez Gouzdez. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gouzdez was operating a bicycle.

The car was traveling east.

No criminal charges are expected at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
