Shot fired suspect arrested after incident near WKU campus

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An arrest has been made following a shot fired incident near Western Kentucky University early Friday morning.

The Western Kentucky University Police Department has confirmed 24-year-old Zachariah Ditmore of Bowling Green has been arrested in connection with the incident that occurred off of College Street.

Ditmore is charged with nine counts of first-degree wanton endangerment – discharge of firearm.

He remains at the Warren County Regional Jail.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, Bowling Green Police Department and BG/Warren County DTF assisted with this case, according to WKU PD.
