Plane runs off of runway into home at Mayfield airport

MAYFIELD, Ky. – A plane has run off of the runway and into a home at the Mayfield-Graves Co. Airport.

According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, multiple first responders arrived on scene just before 4 p.m. Thursday after a plane ran off of the runway and collided with a residence on the south side of Kentucky 58 East.

No injuries have been reported, authorities say.

Kentucky 58 East between Kentucky 131 and Byrd Road will be shut down for an unknown amount of time.
