Three winning Powerball tickets sold in Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Three lucky winners in Kentucky are celebrating winning thousands of dollars from Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

According to the Kentucky Lottery, the tickets were sold for the recent $1.8 billion jackpot drawing, the second largest in United States history.

The winning tickets included the following:

  • A $100,000 ticket purchased at Kash Stop Four at 2841 Highway 2565 in Louisa. The Ticket matched four white ball winning numbers and the Powerball, winning $50,000. The ticket had Power Play on it, bringing the win to $100,000.
  • A $50,000 winning ticket was purchased at M&S Food Mart at 11550 Bluegrass Parkway in Louisville. The winning ticket matched four white ball winning numbers and the Powerball, winning $50,000.
  • A $50,000 winning ticket was purchased online at kylottery.com. The winning ticket matched four white ball winning numbers and the Powerball, winning $50,000.

Saturday night’s winning numbers were 11, 23, 44, 61, and 62 with Powerball 17. The Power Play was two.

The Kentucky Lottery advises the winners to:

  • Sign the back of their tickets.
  • Keep them in a secure location.
  • Claim their prize within 180 days from the date of the drawing.
  • Winners must claim their prizes at lottery headquarters – 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville. Winners should contact the lottery at 1-877-789-4532 to make an appointment to claim their prize. Winners have 180 days from the drawing in which they won to claim their ticket.

Two tickets, sold in Missouri and Texas, matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s Powerball® drawing and will split a $1.787 billion jackpot, according to officials. Saturday night’s Powerball drawing was the 42nd drawing since the jackpot was previously won in California on May 31, 2025, setting a new game record for the longest jackpot run.

During this jackpot run, there were 14 big wins in Kentucky, ranging from $1 million, $150,000, $100,000 and $50,000.

For Monday, Sept. 8’s drawing, the Powerball jackpot resets to $20 million.
