Warren County Public Schools receives beneficial grants from Tennessee Valley Authority

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Several schools in the Warren County School District secured funds from the Tennessee Valley Authority in order to benefit its students. Looking at just North Warren and Warren Elementary, it will make a big difference.
At North Warren, 3rd and 4th grade teacher, Kerry Sams, was able to receive money for her school through an “energy right” grant by the utility giant after having students embark on a campaign to conserve energy in school, giving the kids something to get excited about with the promise of money to purchase somethign the students could use while also teaching responsilbity.
Warren Elementary is also receiving a boost in funding for the robotics team. The money will be used for t-shirts, field trips, and even new kits.
