Down at the Creek, new Bowling Green playscape comes to life again
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The park was completed earlier this summer and once again was able to be used for the community’s benefit as part of United Way of Southern Kentucky’s Day of Caring.
The event was pushed back a week due to high heat, which Cameron Levis of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation noted did not really happen on Thursday.
Thanks to this, the kids still had loads of fun.
Complete with an inflatable slide, hot dogs and popcorn, the younger residents of Bowling Green and Warren County were able to have some quality outdoor time.
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, United Way of Southern Kentucky, Warren County Public Schools, the Bowling Green Police Department and more joined together to make the event possible for the community.
