Sandra Baker elected to board of directors for Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Sandra Baker, vice president of education and workforce, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has been elected to serve on the board of directors for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

Members of ACCE’s board of directors represent more than 50 organizations, including many of the world’s largest and most influential regional chambers of commerce.

According to a release, Baker brings over 40 years of experience in leadership and education, including the last nine years at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. Baker currently serves as vice president of education and workforce. She also leads the chamber’s talent development efforts and flagship programs, including Leadership Bowling Green, Bowling Green Young Professionals and the nationally recognized K-12 talent initiative, SCK LAUNCH. Before joining the chamber, the release says Baker served as associate executive director at the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative, where she provided leadership, collaboration, and educational resources to 40 school districts, procuring and managing more than $51.2 million in funding to advance regional education initiatives.

Her career reflects a deep commitment to building strong communities through workforce development, education, and cross-sector collaboration.
