New attainable development coming to Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Just off Veterans Memorial Lane, LDG Development Group is building an approximately $75 million project that will house 256 families.

It’s in response to the disastrous tornadoes that struck the area in 2021 and has been an endeavor made up of private and public investment, with entities like PNC bank agreeing to partly finance the project as well as the Kentucky Department of Local Government and Kentucky Housing Corporation. The 17-acre property should be completely finished in the summer of 2027 as they work to complete residential buildings, playground and pool areas starting January 2026.

Rent is set using HUD data to benefit those making 50% to 70% of the area’s median income.
