Med Center in Glasgow brings support to Barren County and surrounding communites

GLASGOW, Ky. – April 24, 2025 was the start of a new chapter for medical services in Barren County, offering support to thousands of residents.

The Med Center in Bowling Green reports 35,000 visits from Barren County and Glasgow for outpatient services just last year, meaning that this new 22,000 square foot facility with dozens of exam rooms and family medicine capabilities will be a great asset to those who live close.

Doctors and administrators at the new local say they hope it will save many people a trip to Bowling Green as well as improve health outcomes by also keeping  patients and providers familiar by having a local practice.
