Surrounded by water, massive flooding cuts off subdivisions
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Since rain started to fall on Wednesday, April 2, areas of Bowling Green and Warren County became impassable going into the weekend.
2025’s inclement weather so far has caused a lot of water to drain into the area’s cave system and with high ground saturation and flooded aquifers, the excess rainfall essentially has no where to go.
The high waters have caused subdivisions to lose access to main roads which the public works departments in both Warren County and Bowling Green to remedy with emergency roads.
