KSP investigating fatal hit-and-run on I64
ASHLAND, Ky. – State police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run.
On Saturday, Kentucky State Police received a request from the Boyd County Sheriff’s Office to respond to a fatal collision on Interstate 64 near the 185-mile marker.
KSP says it located a deceased man, Hubert E. Mosby, 78, on the shoulder of the roadway near his vehicle.
The initial investigation shows that Mosby was trying to fix a mechanical issue. He was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.
The investigation of the hit-and-run is ongoing.
