Protest against the Trump administration in Munfordville

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. – On Saturday, March 29, a handful of protestors gathered in front of the Hart County Courthouse to express their concerns about the current White House administration.

Judith Petersen, chairperson of the Hart County Democratic Party, organized the protest and said protestors present had many worries from education to scientific research.

Signage displaying disdain for the ongoing changes out of Washington were clear and still raised high through the smoking out of protestors by several large trucks going by.

Petersen said the protest coming out of Munfordville might be surprising to some, but she said just like anyone else, they have the right to their free speech and will exercise it as much as they feel is appropriate.
