Glasgow Fire Department responds to kitchen fire
GLASGOW, Ky. – On Tuesday evening, the Glasgow Fire Department (GFD) responded to an apartment fire.
Chief Lucas Tinsley says firefighters were dispatched to 210 Dellwood Drive. Upon arrival, firefighters observed light smoke coming from the apartment’s front door.
Tinsley says firefighters entered the apartment and located a fire in the kitchen.
GFD quickly extinguished the fire that started on the stove. The fire is believed to be accidental.
Tinsley says the residents and firefighters did not sustain injuries.
The apartment received fire and smoke damage.
