Could An Asteroid Strike Earth?

A Look At Interstellar Odds In 2032

An Asteroid 2024 YR4 tracked by NASA scientists was discovered in its orbit. Initial calculations projected a very low chance of hitting Earth as it’s projected to move near our planet in the year 2032. This calculation was the first to have more than a 1 percent chance of striking earth. If it were to make an impact, it would’ve been enough to wipe out entire cities.

“I think because it has it reached that 1%, limit, if you will. You know, NASA had to notify organizations and things like that. So there’s there’s been a lot of hype generated.”- Maxx Haehn

As scientists continue to monitor the asteroid, new calculations have significantly lowered to 0. Making the threat non-existent.

“Rest assured,  to the viewers at home, I don’t think this, asteroid is going to hit Earth.”- Haehn
