Hart Judge-Executive comments on Bonnieville dissolution

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Since Bonnieville officially dissolved in November of 2024, you might be wondering how the Hart County government has been handling the change.

Hart County Judge-Executive Joe Choate told News 40 today that for him and the rest of the magistrates, things have been seamless. There have been some added benefits to the community now that the incorporation has dropped, like maintenance.

Choate said the biggest concern out of the whole ordeal has been the street lights, to which Choate said people won’t have to worry about for the next 41 months.
