Kentucky to honor Carter, Trump

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Flags will be raised to full-staff on Monday.

Governor Andy Beshear says all government flags will be raised to full-staff following President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Flags will return to half-staff following the ceremony. The flags will remain half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, January 28 to honor former President Jimmy Carter.

Gov. Beshear recommends individuals, businesses and organizations in the state to join in the tributes.
