Police identify victim as 16-year-old in Hendersonville homicide case

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – Hendersonville police say the victim in a homicide investigation has been identified as a 16-year-old male.

The Hendersonville Police Department provided the update Sunday evening on social media following a response Sunday for shots fired in the 100 block of Vulco Drive in Hendersonville.

Police say the teen victim is from the Nashville area.

Upon arrival to the scene, police say the call changed to a homicide.

Officers say the suspect is no longer in the area, and this remains an active investigation. The names of those involved have not been released at this time.
