Deputies arrest pair after marijuana grow house discovered in Metcalfe County
EDMONTON, Ky. – A man and woman are behind bars after authorities in Metcalfe county said they were operating a marijuana grow house.
A search warrant was executed Saturday at a residence on Society Hill Road in Edmonton.
Deputies said they located the grow house in the basement. In addition to several pounds of processed suspected marijuana, three firearms and additional drug paraphernalia items were found.
Deputies arrested Frank Ballard, 36 and Shaundra Ballard, 36.
The two are charged with numerous offenses, including cultivating marijuana and trafficking in marijuana.
Frank and Shaundra Ballard are being held inside the Barren County Regional Jail, where they are both being held on a $5,000 bond.
