Beshear issues statement following deadly collision in New Orleans

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear has issued a statement after a vehicle ran into a crowd in New Orleans on New Year’s Day, killing at least 10 people.

According to the Associated Press, the Federal Bureau of Investigations is investigating this incident as an act of terrorism.

Beshear shared the following statement via social media on Wednesday afternoon:

“The deadly attack this morning in New Orleans was an act of evil and cruelty. Britainy and I are praying for the victims and their families.”
