Crews investigate fire at Bowling Green nail salon

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Fire Department responded to small fire on Thursday night at a shopping center off Scottsville Road.

Fire officials say crews were dispatched for a fire alarm at the Bowling Green Athletic Club. Upon arrival, crews reported smoke coming from Nail Studio and upgraded to a structure fire response.

Eight BGFD units responded. Public Information Officer, Katie McKee, says the fire was under control within 10 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
