Man arrested following reported standoff in Hart County

HART COUNTY, Ky. – A Hart County man has been arrested following a reported standoff in Hart County on Monday.

According to Kentucky State Police public affairs officer Katan Parker, Jayson Slater, 44, was arrested today in relation to a standoff that occurred while troopers were attempting to serve an EPO on Slater.

Further details have not been released at this time.

Slater remains at the Hart County Jail on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), reckless driving, no brake lights (passenger vehicles) and violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO.
