Woman accused of slashing ex-husband’s arm

Bowling Green police were called at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday to 1004 Raven Ave. after Kathy Belle Osborne, 62, called police with accusations that her ex-husband, his daughter and another man were smoking marijuana in the house.

Osborne told police when she confronted her ex-husband, Robert York, he punched and kicked her in the torso.

York was on the front porch when police arrived and he said Osborne came out of her bedroom yelling and swearing at his daughter and grabbed her by her hair, according to Osborne’s arrest citation. Police noted they did not smell marijuana in or around the home or on anyone.

York told police as he, his daughter and another man were leaving through the front door, Osborne came at them with a kitchen knife. Osborne is accused of making stabbing and slashing motions at York who had a superficial wound to his arm, according to Osborne’s arrest citation.

Osborne is charged with second-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment.

Osborne is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. Her bond is $6,000.

York and his daughter were not charged with any crime.
