Holiday market to benefit Drakes Creek Middle cheerleading and local nonprofit

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An upcoming event is offering a chance to get holiday shopping done while helping a great cause.

The Gator Extra Special Holiday Marketplace will open Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Drakes Creek Middle School.

The event supports both Drakes Creek Cheerleading and Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky, according to organizers.

Shoppers can look forward to photos with the Grinch, face painting, gift wrapping, beverages and a large number of other vendors.

Childcare will be available for shoppers on site.
