Hardin Co. man charged with possession of child pornography

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. – A man has been arrested after authorities found nearly 20 files containing videos of children engaging in sex acts.

Michael Konrad, 27, of Elizabethtown was arrested after a search of his home by the Kentucky State Police, according to The News-Enterprise.

During the investigation, troopers found two video files depicting children that appeared to be under the age of 12 engaged in sex acts.

Troopers also discovered 14 files containing videos depicting children believed to be older than 12 but younger than 18 engaging in sex acts.

Konrad is charged with possession of matter sex performance by a minor over 12 but under 18, first offense, and possession of matter portraying sexual performance by minor under 12.

He is currently being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
