Man leads police on high-speed chase into city of Auburn

AUBURN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man faces several charges after fleeing deputies in Auburn on Sunday morning.
A Logan County Sheriff’s Office deputy says it observed a vehicle traveling 106 miles per hour at Highway 68 East near Sugar Maple Drive in Auburn.
The deputy says the vehicle continued into Auburn, disregarding an attempt to conduct a traffic stop. The pursuit continued onto College Street. The vehicle reached up to 85 miles per hour on College Street when the operator lost control of a curve and left the roadway.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Yan Triana Moreno, 20 of Bowling Green.
A passenger in the vehicle says he was asleep and is listed as a victim in the incident by the department.
Triana Moreno is charged with fleeing or evading police, 1st degree, wanton endangerment-1st degree, no operators-moped license, and speeding 26 mph or > speed limit.
Triana Moreno is lodged at the Logan County Jail.
