Truck catches fire after owner tries to pull down tree
LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – The Leitchfield Fire Department responded to a truck fire on Monday.
According to a report from WNKY News 40 partner K105 FM, the Leitchfield Fire Department responded to a truck fire on Basham Drive.
Upon arrival, firefighters located a truck engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire to the truck and a grass fire.
The department says the fire started when the owner was attempting to pull down a tree connected to the truck with a rope.
No injuries have been reported from the incident.
