BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Louie B. Nunn Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame is adding two educators to its acclaimed ranks this year.

Arthur C. Hale and Linda Kingsley are the members of the 16th class. These distinguished individuals, selected by a statewide committee, will be formally inducted during the 2024 Hall of Fame ceremony at Western Kentucky University on Friday, Nov. 22, according to a release by WKU.

Hale taught at Ohio County High School for 54 years, before retirement. He taught science and math.

Kingsley taught English and debate at Owensboro High School for 29 years, and still substitute teaches for Owensboro Public Schools.

Full biographies for both inductees will be released on Nov. 22.

The Governor Louie B. Nunn Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame was established in 2000 through a generous gift from former Governor Nunn, aimed at honoring the essential contributions of Kentucky’s classroom teachers and their positive impact on the state’s economy.

WKU was chosen as its home due to its century-long legacy in teacher education. You can learn more at https://www.wku.edu/kythf/.
