BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With voting season in full swing, the Warren County Clerk’s Office is making sure everyone is ready to vote.

There are many different ways to vote in Warren County, from in-person early voting to absentee and Election Day voting, and there are some very important dates coming up that you need to know.

Oct. 7 is an important date for those who may still want to register to vote or make changes to their current registration.

“The website will be closing, and we call it ‘the books are closing.’ So if you have moved in the last year or there needs to be some kind of a change that you want to make to your registration, it’s govote.ky.gov, or if you’re a new voter and you have not ever registered to vote, you can go to that as well,” said Warren County clerk Lynette Yates.

For those who need to vote absentee, the portal just opened up to apply for a ballot. Yates says absentee ballots do require you to match certain criteria to be eligible to receive an absentee ballot.

To see if you can apply for an absentee ballot and any other voting questions, you can click here.
