Reward reaches $25K for information leading to arrest of I-75 shooting suspect

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. – The search continues Tuesday for a suspect in a shooting that injured five people over the weekend on Interstate 75.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, authorities are searching for Joseph Couch as an investigation remains ongoing. Couch is a suspect in a shooting the occurred on Saturday, Sept. 7 on I-75.

The sheriff’s office shared Tuesday in a Facebook post that the reward for information leading to Couch’s arrest is now at $25,000.

This is a combination of $10,000 from United Way of London, $10,000 from an anonymous donor and $5,000 from the London Laurel County Crime Stoppers, authorities say.

The sheriff’s office says the Kentucky State Police will hold a briefing at the London Community Center at 3 p.m. EST Tuesday afternoon, providing additional details about the investigation and search.
