Several pets dead following house fire on Village Creek Drive

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Fire Department responded for a reported structure fire Thursday evening.

According to BGFD chief Justin Brooks, units were dispatched at 5:47 p.m. to the 500 block of Village Creek Drive.

Brooks confirmed two cats and one dog died following the fire.

No other injuries have been reported at this time.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Bowling Green Police Department and Med Center EMS also assisted at the scene.
