18-year-old charged with murder after shooting in Edmonson County
BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a Bowling Green man.
The Kentucky State Police Post 3 says it responded around 12:30 a.m. Sunday for a call to assist the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office at the 600 block of The Bridge Road.
Troopers say Ernest Cline, 83 of Bowling Green, was found dead inside of a residence at this location.
Authorities say Damien Worrel, 18, was arrested by troopers and charged with murder and robbery.
Worrel was transported to the Hart County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
