SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – In Scottsville, the Center for Courageous Kids has announced its new president and CEO.

According to the release from CCK, Darren Dannelly has been appointed the new president and CEO.

“Right out of the gate, Darren clearly demonstrated an understanding of how camp like CCK operates,” said Elizabeth McKinney, JD, CCK Board chairwoman and trust principal at The Glenview Trust Company. “His intellect, energy, and great personality made him the obvious choice. Most importantly, he understands that the ultimate goal of all of this work is to provide the campers with a great experience.”

Dannelly has previous experience with high-level positions within the Tampa Metro YMCA and Girl Scouts of West Central Florida, which the CCK say will help further strengthen the CCK Mission of providing life-changing camp experiences for children with serious illnesses.

In his new role, CCK says Dannelly will focus on continuing strong relationships with donors and community sponsors while nourishing new and flourishing partnerships to increase giving and immersive volunteer experiences.
