Boys & Girls Club of Franklin Simpson welcomes new CEO

FRANKLIN, Ky. – The Boys & Girls Club of Franklin Simpson is introducing a new CEO to their organization.

Brittany Curry makes her way to Simpson County from the Nashville area. She’s originally from Western Kentucky, but began working for the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands.

She then went over to Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, after realizing she wanted to work with a nonprofit.

She then made her way back home to the commonwealth, and even though she’s only been in the role for about 2 days, she hopes to add to the growth the Boys & Girls Club is seeing.

“I want to just be able to help grow that… help build on the legacy that was already here… They’ve done such a great job, and I just hope to maybe help bolster it a little bit more… moving on to the next level,” Curry says.

She also says her time at Big Brothers Big Sisters made her realize her passion was in youth empowerment, and she hopes the kids at the Boys & Girls Club find their passion.

She’s also been looking for an opportunity to come home and once she saw this opening, she knew she had to take it.
