WKU Softball names Warick director of operations

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Softball head coach Amy Tudor announced the hiring of Lindsey Warick as Director of Softball Operations on Tuesday.

“I am very excited to add Lindsey to our staff,” Tudor said. “She is organized, punctual, and has a passion for the game. I’m looking forward to working with her and all that she will offer from her coaching and playing experiences.”

Warick was a catcher at Missouri and Indiana, before most recently serving as an assistant coach at Rockford University. She was an NFCA All American Scholar Athlete, graduating from IU with a bachelor of science in kinesiology and then from Rockford with her master’s degree in business administration.

“I’m extremely thankful to now be a part of the Western Kentucky Softball program and to Coach Tudor for giving me this opportunity,” Warick said. “Family is everything to me and I have found my new family at WKU.”

At Indiana, she played in 95 games with 78 starts behind the plate. She also played 12 games at Missouri before the 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19.

Most recently, Warick was an Athletic Administration graduate assistant and softball coach at Rockford. She has also been a softball instructor at Elite Sports Training Center since December 2023. During her playing days, she also served as a Game Day Operations Intern in the Florida Gulf Coast League (Summer 2022) and then as a Stadium Operations Intern for the Schaumburg Boomers (Summer 2023).

Warick began her duties with WKU on Monday (July 15).
