Man arrested following collision in Ballard County during pursuit

LA CENTER, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a three-vehicle collision after a multi-county pursuit.

According to a release by KSP, Post 1 troopers received a request from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office to look for a suspect with multiple violent felony offenses related to an ongoing investigation.

Around 9:30 a.m. Friday, KSP say the Paducah Police Department stated it had located the suspect vehicle, resulting in a pursuit that began in McCracken County.

Troopers say multiple agencies responded to assist.

The pursuit involving a 2018 Toyota Camry entered Ballard County on U.S. 60, troopers say. The driver was identified as Noah Driver, 24 of Paducah.

According to a preliminary investigation, troopers say Driver was traveling westbound on U.S. 60. Rebecca Clark, 78 of Ellington, Missouri was operating a 2021 Nissan Rogue eastbound on U.S. 60 with a passenger, Kenneth Clark, 78 of Ellington.

Troopers say Christopher Hargrove, 51 of Kevil was operating a 2013 Cadillac XTS westbound on U.S. 60 with passenger, Kelley Long, 48 years old of Kevil.

According to troopers, the Toyota Camry hit the rear driver’s side of the Cadillac XTS, causing the Cadillac to overturn into the parking lot of La Oasis Gas Station. After the collision, trooper say the Toyota entered the eastbound lane and crashed into the Nissan Rogue.

The Nissan stopped in the ditch on the south side of the roadway, troopers say.

Both occupants of the Cadillac were flown to an out of state hospital with serious injuries.

Both occupants of the Nissan were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Driver was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released for minor injuries.

According to troopers, the Toyota operated by Driver was stolen, along with a firearm he had during the collision.

Driver was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, receiving stolen property (firearm), receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of impairing substance and speeding greater than 26 miles per hour over the limit.

He was transported to the Marshall County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
