Bridge KY’s Back to School Bag Sale

GLASGOW, Ky.- It’s almost that time of year when kids are returning to school, and this summer Bridge Kentucky is back and lightening the load.

For several years now, Bridge Kentucky has offered people to pay $10 to fill a 40-gallon bag with all kinds of clothes for you and your kids. The initiative is now back through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.

In their 5,000 square-foot warehouse, they are giving away clothes that are gently worn and some clothes with the tag still on.

Wade Copas Bridge KY tells us why this is important.

He says, “Folks who may need a new wardrobe for their kids or, you know, just because the season doesn’t mean that we don’t all need new clothing every once in a while, so it’s a good thing that we can offer this. And at the same time, you know, this money helps us to stay open.”
