Buc-ee’s to host First Responders Day prior to grand opening

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. – For local first responders and their families, Buc-ee’s will provide free meals and beverages.

The event is on June 21, prior to the opening on June 24. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., members of responding units have a first look at the new location.

Free samplings will include jerky, signature sandwiches, barbeque sandwiches, sweets and more. Beverages included are fountain drinks, ICEE’s, coffee and tea, among other options.

Actives are encouraged to bring their fire trucks, patrol cars, armored vehicles or ambulances to Buc-ee’s that day. If not in uniform, a badge, shirt, hat or business card will suffice for entry.

Immediate family is welcomed to attend the event. The new Buc-ee’s location is 3949 Smiths Grove- Scottsville Road.
